Gold Coast hinterland is home to our large, purpose built Yoga Studio & Day Retreat Centre, only 15 minutes from M1 Gold Coast, Australia. Set into the bushland and surrounded by national park, we are very fortunate to be able to offer a tranquil setting for classes and day retreats. The studio is fully equipped with mats and props including traditional Iyengar Yoga ropes. The studio has kitchen facilities, a fire pit & outdoor seating area for a full day experience.
My personal Yoga journey began over 30 years ago, it has helped me through all of life's little and big situations. It is for this reason, I believe every single person can find benefits from taking steps towards finding the Yoga that suits them. No matter the age, body shape, flexibility or mental & emotional place in life, I am of the firm belief things will only get better with a little Yoga practice.
I continue to hone my skills through studying with Jan O'Donoghue, one of Australia's most experienced Yoga Teachers, principal at Gold Coast School of Iyengar Yoga, Mudgeeraba, on a weekly basis, she has inspired me for over 10 years.
My teaching is Iyengar influenced, I have an extensive knowledge of how to use props to assist everyone achieve their best possible postures safely so that there is lasting improvement to agility and movement. I incorporate a wealth of life experience to guide students to make the changes they are wanting through practical daily habit changes, relaxation, meditation and other simple techniques that can be incorporated into any schedule.
