Môreson is a farm on the Ghaap Plateau, the transition area between the Karoo and the Kalahari. It is 190 km north of Kimberley and 335 km west of Bloemfontein near the small town Reivilo. GPS coordinates are S27,592315 E24,239058.
Môreson boasts a natural spring, providing flowing cool, fresh water for the body, mind and spirit in lush green gardens amidst the arid environment.
Accommodation is available in the renovated Old Stone House - the original homestead of the farm dating from the 1880's. We also have twin retreat rooms with shared bathrooms, as well as shady camping sites with electricity and water taps.
There is also a labarint, based on the Chartes pattern, at Môreson. And horses for riding across more that 4000 ha of the Ghaap Plateau (commonly called "Die Ghaapse Berg"). Hiking, bird watching, spotting game are other favourite pass times of our visitors.
