YTT 200HR

This was the most amazing experience of my entire existence, It was a remote location on top of a mountain about 10-15 minute drive from town where you can shop, go to the beach, or go to any of the restaurants. One of the attractions nearby is the Jaguar rainforest sanctuary, where they have a variety of animals and you pay to help rehabilitate and release them back into the wild. I was fortunate enough to be able to hold a baby monkey!! <3

Nurturing, Gorgeous Samasati Nature Retreat

Samasati Nature Retreat is gorgeous. You are immersed in natural beauty in an environment that nurtures body, mind and soul. My retreat participants and I fell in love with the place and I want to return over and over again. The food is fresh, healthy and delicious, the staff is kind, helpful and low key. There are many guided professional tours in the surrounding area making it the perfect retreat spot!

Wonderful experience at Samasati

Certainly one of the most life changing experiences. I travelled alone, the people ive met were so wonderful, the food was incredible, being immersed in the jungle was an incredible experience. Simply living, i love it and will be returning for the second time in the fall! Excited! I plan to revisit when I can :)

It's like a second home

After traveling to over 140 countries, my second home is Samasati Nature Retreat in Costa Rica. I try to go there no less than twice a year. There is nothing like waking up in one of the bungalows overlooking the Caribbean and hearing the roar of howler monkeys. Food is awesome. Staff are now friends. And, there is plenty of optional excursions no more than 20 minutes away....zip lining, river rafting like out of National Geographic, beautiful beaches, horseback riding, Jaguar Animal Rescue Center, and more!! Now I am really homesick!!! :) Hope to see you there!

“Fantastic!!!!”

Samasati was really beautiful and definitely a relaxing place to stay. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. I remember 2 girls specifically, Barbara and Cecilia. They were so welcoming and helpful - they always greeted us with a warm smile!

The food was outstanding! Being a vegetarian, it's often difficult to find healthy options to eat when I go out with friends. But the food provided by Samasati was some of the best vegetarian cuisine I've ever had!

Samasati Nature Retreat was the best time of my life!

Upon arriving for our 10 day stay at Samasati, it felt like we stepped into heaven. We were warmly greeted by our hosts & given our first of many wonderful meals. The howling monkeys reminded us we were in the heart of the jungle. After soaking in the jacuzzi, hiking in the jungle, doing yoga in their gorgeous jungle studio, then an awesome massage. Wow! Samasati was a restful, exciting adventure we still can't stop talking about.
Do it! Book it! Stay awhile!
All the best, Darrin www.LoversYoga.com

Unique place in Costa Rica!

I think Samasati is the most unique place on the Caribbean side. Staff is very nice; taking care of their guest is the top priority, so they go out of their way to accommodate you. The location is fantastic ... immersed the Forest only few miles from amazing beaches, the accommodations are simple yet computable and cozy. I recommend Samasati to anybody who wants a break from the hustle and bustle of our busy daily life

Beautiful place

I have been at Samasati for a week with my wife. I recommend it to anybody who is looking to unplug and dive into a real vacation and retreat. Stephanie has been very helpful and she has helped me immensely to gain some flexibility and, more important, to know how to keep going now that I am back in the cold weather of Boulder. The staff, very helpful, colorful and warm. I felt I got to know lots of cool people, I had quality time with my wife and I had plenty of adventures ... i recommend the canopy tour, the Cahuita National park and visit to the village. Very charming.

The location is completely beautiful, tucked in the jungle with amazing views of the ocean, the rooms are very cozy, the staff is warm and competent, the teacher, Stephanie is very knowledgeable and caring. I had a life changing time and I look forward to recommend it to my friends and to go back.

“The gem of the rainforest, truly special....”

This place is the perfect blend of an exotic rain forest location with onsite yoga, and a remote beach/surf town for some local atmosphere. You can horseback ride on the beach, go for a zip line tour, visit waterfalls or just do nothing. It's the best spot to get away from busy city life and to reconnect with nature. The staff is so great, the cabins are unique and the food will get your body realigned to a more healthful state. Awesome...!!

A great vacation

I recently stayed at Samasati Nature Retreat, had a great vacation and participated in the Yoga Retreat for Women. Very relaxing, first class Yoga teaching, the place is unique- built in the middle of hundreds of acres of forest, I believe is a biological reserve, my bungalow had the most fantastic view of the Caribbean. The beaches down there are gorgeous, but I was very happy to be able to just go to the beach for some time, and get back to the peace and quiet of the resort. I definitely recommend this place for a vacation, I will be back myself.

Heaven on Earth

A wonderful environment to spend a relaxing vacation. Amazing service with great food! We stayed in an ocean view house located in the jungle above Puerto Viejo. Sloths, toucans and monkeys abound. One of the best staffs that I have experienced. Highly recommended :)
