A fusion of the ancient discipline of yoga with the modern pilates techniques. The exercises mix both disciplines to develop core strength, help tone muscles, increase flexibility, and reduce stress.

Hatha / Alignment

Interested in yoga, but unsure where to start? Join me in this class that is especially designed for beginners (although all levels are welcome). You will experience a mindfulness practice that explores yoga postures, healthy alignment and breathing techniques that make up the hatha yoga practice. No yoga experience necessary. Simply bring a willingness to move and play.

A Yoga class design for Everyone! It is a low-intensity class that will build strength, stability, alignment and better breathing techniques.

This super versatile piece of Pilates equipment offers a full body workout with grace and fluidity while demanding core stability and developing your strength from deep within you. From subtle to brutal, this machine offers it all.

This class combines the strength and stability of a Hatha asana practice with the warmth and energy of Vinyasa flow. Hatha flow class explores the beginning and intermediate asanas (poses) while keeping a focus on developing strength and flexibility. Flowing sequences will be contrasted with poses held for a longer duration. Mindful postures and meditation will balance the body, mind and spirit. Pranayama (breathing practices) are given special attention. Appropriate for all levels.

Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic system of practicing asanas (poses). Yoga postures flow in a logical sequence. Each position complements those that precede and follow. This practice focuses on the synchronization of breath & the continuous flow of movement. Vinyasa is a strong practice that builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and mental focus. This class can be strenuous; may be appropriate for beginners.

This class welcomes students of all levels. Nia is a movement practice that integrates Eastern and Western wisdom, including inspiration from the martial arts, dance arts, and the healing arts. Combining movements from Tai Chi, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Jazz, Modern Dance as well as Yoga, Nia delivers a balanced cardiovascular, strengthening and toning workout. Practiced barefoot, Nia’s eclectic mixture of music and movement offers a magical and joyful atmosphere to develop self-healing and awareness of mind and body.

Hatha Alignment is a moderately paced dynamic class with focused attention to detailed alignment principles and the actions of engagement that support and empower the practitioner to both move more deeply into the postures. Students can expect a well-rounded class, which includes strength building, flexibility, balance, concentration, meditation, pranayama, and mindfulness. An excellent class for those with injuries or physical challenges, modifications and variations are given to accommodate students of all levels.

This class can be enjoyed by students at any level of experience. Poses (asanas) are offered with variations and modifications so there is something for each student.

Sun Salutations and flowing sequences of asanas change and align with the breath. Expect standing poses, balance poses, inversions – a little bit of everything but moving towards a broader spectrum of poses that may challenge some students.

These classes also focus on the relationship between strength and flexibility.

Our signature classes balance precise instruction, alignment with breath, and fluid movement. Classes are carefully themed to deepen the students' experience of yoga. A flow of Sun Salutes and postures are skillfully sequenced, and modifications are used to individualize the practice for each student. The YogaWorks Teacher Training Program is based on this clear and effective style of practice. YogaWorks signature classes are paced moderately to vigorously depending upon the level. As a beginner, you can start with Level 1 and gradually build up to more advanced levels as your practices grows.
