An all round vinyasa flow class. The class will be dynamic as well as passive, relaxed as well as energetic. Careful attention to posture, alignment and most importantly the breath will be focused on. I aim to challenge the aspirant by making careful adjustments through the use of breath as you will be able to surrender to asana's with a sense of control, stability and ease.
Yin – a slow-paced style of yoga where sequences of deliciously deep floor poses or asanas are held for longer periods of time. This meditative practice works on deeper connective tissues in the joints to enhance and stimulate the chi-flow to the meridian and organ systems and open the joints. It relaxes, restores and rejuvenates. Bringing the moisture back into our dry and brittle areas, helping us to regain freedom in our body. Yin yoga is also an essential complement to more active styles of yoga, sport and fitness and offers the opportunity to develop our thoughtful nature.
Yang – a more active practice incorporating a continuous flowing sequence of poses that strengthens the muscles, maintains core stability, improves flexibility and agility and enhances creativity and active energy. Yang yoga has rhythm and repetition and is a combination of yoga and Tai Chi.
Investment: £110 (10 weeks) or £14 per drop-in class
£11 per class if you pay in advance for the full term – terms are between 9 – 14 weeks.
Ideal for all, Prāṇāyāma is the practice of breath control in yoga.
It consists of synchronising the breath with movements between asanas, but is also a distinct breathing exercise on its own.
This class led by yoga teacher Lisa Morris who teaches in Bushey, it is for complete beginners and those who might like to delve a bit deeper into this amazing adventure!
You will learn about the universal sound of om, chanting, the posture required with subtle adjustments and then the magic of breath work.
'Feel so much better and almost ... you know what I mean',
'Great class Lisa. Learnt so much about my breathing. Really nice to take that time to observe and listen to the pattern'.

'Feeling Fabulous, Thankyou',

The nature of online classes:
As these are online classes, you will be able to see me on screen and hear my instructions, however I will have limited observation available as also leading and showing the practices. This means you will be more ‘left to yourself’ than you would be in an in-person class environment, but the nature of my teaching hopefully allows you to respect your own natural range of motion, personal boundaries and when to back out or modify as you need. Please do email me on with any injuries, specific needs or queries at all, so I can advise how to look after yourself.
Online class details:
Each week will be released to book immediately after the current class has passed. Once you have paid, you will be sent the ID code for that specific Zoom meeting.
Once you have your ID, it is advisable to open Zoom on a computer or even TV screen for best viewing experience.
You will be sent full instructions by email after paying, including the equipment you will need to have ready.
You can enter and settle in 15 minutes before the start of the class – please come in early so we can address any technological issues before and start on time.
Opening times are set for half an hour before the class set time (you’ll see in the link sent). I will enter the meeting 15 minutes before, but cannot set that in the meeting times.
Payment and booking details – monthly pass available:
On this page: you will see how to pay and book classes. Bikram style Hot 26 +2 (26 postures and 2 breathing exercises). Designed to strengthen the spine, improve flexibility, muscle tone, circulation and lung capacity.
Our Beginner's Yoga course is an ideal opportunity to begin a weekly practice of yoga, whether you're a complete beginner or you'd like to recap on some of the basic postures, breathing and relaxation techniques. The course runs at a gentle pace and will give you a good grounding in the foundations of yoga for you to then continue your own practice and to progress into our other classes.
InJoy! Yoga offers Beginner yoga classes for those who are new to yoga and for those who have previously learnt a little yoga. Classes are particularly useful for those who would like to learn the foundational building blocks of a safe Asana (yoga posture) practise. These classes are also particularly beneficial to those who want to develop their own home practice and to existing InJoy! clients who have perhaps come to pregnancy or baby and postnatal yoga but have not had much experience of 'general' yoga and want to join one of our general classes.
Classes focus on building an awareness of a balanced yoga practice, incorporating asana (physical yoga poses), breathing, meditation and sound practices. All foundational yoga asanas are taught so that the full range of movements needed for a healthy spine are covered. These include forward bends, back bends, side stretches, twists, inversions and balances.
Our aim is to ensure you are familiar with moving safely in and out of asanas, have grasped foundational alignment for all yoga asanas, have a clear idea of what your body needs to balance itself, and have learned the most important and beneficial yoga practise of synchronising breath and movement. This is how we synchronise all the internal systems of the body and makes yoga so health promoting.
You will also become familiar with the names of some of the yoga postures both in English and Sanskrit, and gain a new set of yoga buddies!
