A one-hour early morning yoga practice designed for yogins of all levels who want to get their yoga on, but have busy days ahead of them. Typically, the Sunrise Yoga practice starts with a few moments of seated breath work, followed by sun salutations to warm up the body and an ever-changing sequence of postures including standing poses, hip openers, shoulder openers, inversions, twists, forwardbends, and/or backbends.

You will leave Sunrise Yoga feeling relaxed yet energized and ready to start your busy day with a clear and quiet mind and a spring in your step, ready to face the challenges of the day with a positive outlook that will improve your productivity, efficiency and concentration.

All levels are welcome. Intensity level is moderate to vigorous.

A powerhouse of poses for all levels of practitioners to move and groove to on their mats.
Like a roller start off slow and steady until we get to the hill, core of the we move fast and fluid with our breath until we cant go any further and then slow it back down til the ride comes to a complete stop at svasana and then it is time to get off the yogic ride and go on with ones day.

Each week, I introduce new themes of mind, body and spirit in this alignment-based vinyasa flow class, suitable for all levels. I provide a variety of options to make the class more challenging, as desired. Weekly themes include inspirational readings from yoga philosophy, informative lessons on chakras, Ayurveda, meditations, mudras and more. I enjoy infusing the class with a variety of creative options, leaving students feeling relaxed and inspired.

A fundamental yet challenging class that focuses on asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation. Students will learn correct form and breathing within motion.

Hatha is a classical form of practice where there is longer holding of yoga poses. Classes will include warm up exercises, sun salutations (a graceful series of poses performed as one fluid movement, coordinated with the breath), and postures to encourage flexibility, strength and balance, as well as relaxation. There will be a strong focus on alignment inspired by teachings from Iyengar Yoga.

You will explore basic poses more deeply, as well as practice intermediate and advanced poses. By repeating poses and staying in them longer, you have time to discover a deeper level of understanding of both basic and more refined levels of alignment: inner and outer, shape and direction, form and function. Being still in a pose will become effortless and joyful.

Beginner to advanced, moderate to vigorous intensity.

Learning the fundamentals and growing with them as we work on a therapeutic practice of posture, balance and breath while establishing awareness and a healthy back through increasing strength and flexibility from head to toes to fingers.  Learning something new in each class and building confidence through repetition. Taking your practice off the mat and into daily life. Experience how yoga is different from any other movement modality as it is based upon the concept of breathing with each motion, learning how the body wants us to breathe. Never expected to do more than you can, reaching for your edges but never going beyond. Listen to your body speaking to you. I am there to guide you and watch.
