Hatha Yoga - asana, breath work and meditation - classes vary based on students needs.

A gentle Hatha yoga practice focusing on breath and movement to restore the mind, body and soul. Taking time in postures to notice the breath and use that to relax you into the poses. This class also allows you to find the space between poses while still retaining the gentle rhythm of a flow class. The beautiful fusion as Hatha meets Vinyasa.

A healthy functioning core takes more than working to strengthen your abs or pelvic floor. As in most systems of the body the effect of the relationship between the systems I call " team core" go beyond the team itself, impacting posture, alignment, mood, our breath, the health of our lower back, gut and more. Specific core practices, a yoga practice incorporating these systems and myofascial release make up the format of this class.

This is a fun all level class appropriate for students with some experience and understanding of the practice. We will experience postural flow as well as held standing, balance, seated, prone and supine poses; as well as breath awareness techniques and meditation/relaxation. Because we are practicing through Zoom we will not be including inversions. These classes are FREE of charge. A vigorous vinyasa flow focused on our 3rd chakra to stimulate confidence, self love and personal empowerment. We will cultivate core strength while promoting mindfulness of breath, intentional movement and stability. The class is energized with upbeat music and positive messages to keep us smiling through challenging arm balances, back-bends, inversions and twists.

Almost all forms of yoga help us feel better physically and emotionally. In this class we integrate the tools and interventions of yoga, myofascial release, breath work and relaxation into our practice to make our yoga therapeutic and help restore balance to both body and mind .
