11 Alignment Yoga Classes in the United States

Based on the art of Vinyasa Krama and beautifully blends mindful & creative sequencing with the rhythm of the breath and includes alignment awareness, music, mantra, meditation and mudra. Moving from our roots to crown, class progresses through warm ups, Surya Namaskar and standing poses that build towards arm balances and inversions and move into backbends and forward bends, culminating in peaceful meditation and sacred rest. Each class is set to soulful music and guided by Yoga’s rich traditions and philosophy.

Laura is often described as the consummate student and teacher and each of her classes have a body, mind, spirit and heart component and support the integration of all aspects of the Self. Expect to be profoundly transformed on and off the mat as Laura skillfully and supportively challenges you in any of the categories of poses: standing and seated poses, sun salutations, back and forward bends, twists, hip openers, arm balances and inversions, core work and oftentimes a short chant and pranayama. She artfully and thoughtfully sequences her classes around a specific principle and/or form and progressively guides students into deeper and deeper experiences of that expression in a safe way. Laura clearly illuminates the wealth of alignment knowledge that she has gained from her more than 2 decades of study and invites a deep listening within so that students can embody these principles as their own truth within. Class themes are practical yet soulful and are intended to give students a take away into the reality of their lives off the mat. Regular attendance leads to a profound learning of one’s own body, spirit and mind and inspires students to reach their fullest potential. The class atmosphere is one of support, encouragement, community, contemplation and fun.

All Levels, but not appropriate for raw beginners.

Deepen your practice in this class through the use of the three elements of yoga: Asana, Pranayama (breathwork) and Meditation. This class is a journey to better understand the way our bodies move and how to get into poses properly. Through a strong flow, clear alignment instructions and yoga therapeutics you will leave feeling uplifted and energized.

This is a yoga class which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques(pranayama), and meditation techniques(dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. The asanas work to make the spine supple, the core strong and supple and to promote circulation in the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures strengthen and stretch the body, promoting balance and flexibility.

Breathe, stretch, strengthen, and balance to promote physical and emotional well-being. Open to all ages, body types, and skill levels.

Rebalance the mind & body with vinyasa yoga to a stellar playlist. Known for its dynamic, meditative and creative sequences, vinyasa yoga combines movement with breath. Sequences are designed to create mental clarity, foster creativity, enhance productivity, improve mindfulness, and alleviate physical symptoms from prolonged sitting or standing. Walk away from this class feeling refreshed and recharged. Learn new poses and transitions, gain strength and mobility. Find and maintain equanimity off the mat. All levels, ages, and abilities welcome.

All Levels

Eni's classes focus on alignment, core strength, and fun. We will work on posture alignment while linking breath to movement flowing between asanas. There will be music. Open to all levels, beginner and advanced yoga students are welcome as well.
