EARTH :: a yoga practice based on the principles of Yin yoga. This practice teaches the art of slowing down and the practice of introspection by exploring the combination of minimal movement and stillness in various yoga postures.

The studio is unheated and this class is suitable for all levels of yoga students.

The is a fun class that begins with postures to stretch and warm the body to prepare for the 50 minute Flow Class. Each week we might focus on a particular body part, a group of postures (ie. forward folds, twists, etc.), or work toward a peak posture. I also incorporate light meditation and a focus on breath to flow from pose to pose. I offer lots of variations and modifications to make this class accessible to almost everyone.
