During our practice we will learn to discover ‘where we are' by looking inward. You will always be encouraged to discover the wisdom of your own body and to work within those limits without striving. In this way you are able to know your own flexibility and strength. All yoga classes and workshops are inspired from the Kripalu Yoga tradition which emphasizes compassionate self-acceptance, observing the mind without judgment, and taking the fruits of yoga practice into everyday life. Kripalu Yoga was founded by yoga guru Amrit Desai, and was named for Desai’s teacher, Sri Kripalvananda.
