With our array of instructors coming from different training backgrounds, Bending Branch Yoga brings you a melting pot of multiple yoga styles. We embrace the proper alignment aspects of Iyengar Yoga, the Vinyasa flow of Ashtanga, Pantanjali's 8-limb spiritual concepts of Raja, as well as opposing physical forces of Hatha. By focusing on proper alignment, we will safely encourage you to explore a wide range of yoga poses. However, our focus is not only on the asanas (physical poses). Our unique approach will help you to transform both body and mind. To achieve growth, you must do more than exercise your body; you must also exercise your mind. Through our teachings, you will change your perception and attitude about yoga, fitness, spirituality and overall health. We will not only show you correct physical yoga postures (asanas), we will also practice breathwork(pranayama), and meditation exercises in every class. We will inspire you to practice determination and maintain motivation. Breaking bad habits is one of the most challenging things someone can face. Together, we will replace bad habits with good ones.
