Profoundly touched by the unparalleled sense of connection, equilibrium, freedom, and healing she discovered in yoga, Karen Moss was inspired to open Better Bodies Yoga in 2004 in order to share the transforming benefits of this powerful discipline.
Opportunities abound to explore various styles of Hatha yoga in the studio. Certified instructors approach teaching based on their own training, experience and interests. Their knowledge and energy is combined with a variety of tools including props, pranayama, meditation, heat, and the Great Yoga Wall to guide students on a journey toward mental, physical, and spiritual growth and balance.
With this intention in mind, our administrative and teaching staff celebrates that students are individuals with unique attributes and needs. All classes end in our Signature Savasana ( final relaxation) in which a warm (cold in the hot yoga classes) towel is placed over the eyes. Students are then treated to a gentle leg adjustment for relaxing the back, legs and feet, and a shoulder, neck, and head rub to release stored tension. Our intention at Better Bodies Yoga is for each student to leave the studio feeling calm, appreciated, and connected.
We have a wonderful boutique full of props, mats, CD's, books, yogitoes & manduka towels, and clothing lines such as Rese, Me Sheeky, and others.
