Best suited for people with some yoga experience. Flow yoga is known for its fluid movements. These slightly vigorous classes are designed to smoothly transition from pose to pose, synchronizing movement with breath. Flow yoga will help you build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing your body and calming your mind. You will be encouraged to take great care of your body’s needs, being gentle with yourself as we move through postures.
This class is for beginners, continuing-beginners and intermediate students who want to move slowly and focus on the fundamental yoga postures and basic breath techniques. Through attention to correct form and the repetition of postures you will gain the necessary foundation to create your own home practice or to advance into more challenging styles of yoga. In the process you will increase flexibility and strengthen, tone and revitalize your body.
All levels of students can benefit from this soothing, quiet, very slow paced class. In this class we will be doing a mix of restorative, yin and gentle hatha postures. Most of this class will be done on the floor using bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps to get comfortable into postures so that the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert much effort. The end result is deep relaxation, physical recovery, a calm mind and improved sleep.

Danza del Alma is an open dance floor with an eclectic mix of world music, based upon Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms (flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical & stillness). The person leading the session provides the music and creates a safe space for everyone to express themselves. There are no instructions or dance steps to learn, so you are simply free to dance and to deepen your awareness of your body and soul.
