Paula offers small and personal yoga classes suitable for all body's. With small class sizes I can create a safe and supportive environment by giving alignment techniques and options to suit all students. "Your Body, Your Yoga".
The classes are based around the Hatha Yoga system of creating balance between all the opposites. Ha = Sun & Tha = Moon, ect. The focus of breath and how this influences each body through the physical postures. Bhakti yoga is the yoga of love, devotion, inner beauty and no separation between us and other. When we create space by following the breath and feeling the body we awaken our true essence of; Loving Kindness, Joy, Compassion and Equanimity.
You will be gently guided through movements of the body to the rhythm of your own breath with soothing background music that calms the nervous system. Finishing each practice with Meditation and relaxation techniques.
The practice space is next to the Currumbin River which on most days you feel a breeze with the calm presence of nature just outside.
If you have any injuries or recovery from illness, surgery or feel that yoga may not suit you for any reason - then you must try it.
