The practice of Yoga Nidra can give the mind relief from overthinking, It can allow the body to adjust without injury to the force of gravity, and just generally make you feel delicious. It is the ultimate anti-stress practice.
As not everyone finds it easy to settle into a comfortable position, a few very gentle body movements will be offered before the Yoga Nidra, and suggestions made of how best to prop your particular body.
For absolute beginners and those recovering from illness and/or surgery, please be assured it is ok to do very little, or even nothing. Sitting or lying is fine.
For those experienced with Yoga, the invitation is to delve deep into the subtleties of the practice.
Small in-person class. The yoga is tailored to participants and how they are on the day. Focus is on what can de-stress the body and mind - so necessary these days.
Maximum number of participants is three so you get real personal attention.
Bring your own mat, blanket and a couple of pillow slips so you can use the bolsters. Be prepared to wear a mask until you are in the room, and to wash hands or sanitise them on arrival.
