From March 16-May 25 - Yin Yoga & Ball Rolling: Yoga can provide a wonderful way to build your spirit & your community. It can help you to be inspired, to uplift you & find purpose in life. The quiet practice of Yin Yoga emphasizes longer holds of seated or reclined poses (3-5 min) & muscular relaxation. Lengthening the deep fascia surrounding the joints & stimulating organ meridians will keep the body in balance & in good health. We will balance our practice with Ball Rolling. Laying over an inflatable 8” ball, we will stimulate bone, free restrictions, increase range of motion, improve posture, & prevent injury. Find your way deeper into your yin poses after using the ball to locate & release tension-holding trigger points, & leave your mat feeling like you’ve just come off a massage table.
