Hot yoga is a series of poses, or asana’s, carried out within a heated environment, typically 100 – 105°F, and a humidity of 40% – 50%. Bikram Choudhury had introduced his version of Hot Yoga in the 1970s called Bikram Yoga which, quickly became one of the most adopted yoga practices in the US.
The heat and humidity allows increased results and flexibility in the body, helping you gradually attain your personal best with the poses, whilst simultaneously expelling harmful toxins from your body. It will also assist you with a range of benefits, from losing fat, building core muscles, improving balance, increasing energy, assisting sleep, and decreasing stress.
The combination of the poses and the increased temperature helps stimulate and restore health to your joints, organs, muscles, and immune system whilst detoxifying your - This is our signature hot yoga class. This heated class includes postures and breath that are practised in a heated room, to refresh your entire body, mind and spirit.
Ignite - This is our signature hot yoga class. This heated class includes postures and breath that are practised in a heated room, to refresh your entire body, mind and spirit.
Flow - This is our Vinyasa yoga class, based on modern power yoga with traditional breath and postures. The yoga is practised in a flow or continuous format and is combined with an inspiring musical soundtrack.
Shape - This is our core strengthening class using Pilates techniques combined with principles from Yoga
If you've ever tried hot yoga before and had a negative experience it was probably because the heated environment was not setup correctly. Out studio is totally different.
1. We use Far Infrared panels to warm the body directly using its own natural wavelength. No stuffy hot air blowing around.
2. Our studio is carefully climate controlled with humidifers and proper air flow. Clean and clear air for you.
3. We use imported flooring that is moisture and germ resistant. No smelly studio.
