My gratitude for the discipline of Yoga includes recognition of its breadth, offering everyone a means to become more open to themselves in ways that fit their individual path. I seek to offer every individual student with the challenges for which they are ready. Whether the intention is physical, emotional, and/or spiritual growth, it is my goal to assist and direct every student to an understanding that facilitates their choice for a personal practice. I emphasize awareness as primary, with Pranayama (breath control) as essential, regardless of the chosen focus. I also emphasize that always everyone is in transition, that awareness of body and mind in the moment is required, and that this means one's personal practice likely continues to change.
