Job responsibilities; family obligations, however joyous; the unexpected change of roles as we care for our parents; the surprising adjustments of retirement. Finally, we reach the end of our rope physically, mentally or emotionally.
That's when yoga can help the most.
At Halfmoon Yoga, we believe in bringing yoga to you, where you are today. With a welcoming community; with a sense of fun; with honest expectations; without competition; without tying yourself in knots; without trying to be perfect. Join us for authentic Indian, breath-centered yoga in the tradition of Desikachar and Krishnamacharya. Calming, centering yoga in a serene, spa-like atmosphere.
Private therapeutic sessions are also available for clients with special physical issues.
In addition, Halfmoon Yoga offers Yoga Alliance-approved teacher training at both the 200 hour level and the 300 hour level for existing 200 hour teachers with a focus on Yoga Therapy. Halfmoon Yoga is a member school of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
A yoga practitioner for 45 years, Catherine Deans E-RYT 500 has over 1000 hours of formal yoga teacher training and more than 7000 hours of hands-on teaching experience.
