We are a circle of friends based on the Sunshine Coast. We teach Yoga and hold Yoga retreats and workshops. Yoga means union; it is a practice which connects our bodies, minds and souls. Most of us are aware that Yoga helps to develop strength and flexibility, although as well as creating these long, strong muscles, Yoga improves the functioning of all the systems of the body; the digestive, reproductive, circulatory systems to name a few. Apart from the many benefits of an integrated physical body, the most important thing that a Yoga practice can do is to connect us to our Selves. Through Yoga we learn to breathe deeply and fully again, we learn to relax, renew and restore our sense of Self, and we learn to take that little bit of time out of our busy lives to do something Life supporting. There are no pre-requisites for Yoga, apart from a willingness to be present, and Yoga is suitable for all ages and all levels of practice.
