localYoga was a community landmark and gathering place in old town, Murray, UT, currently under a revialization process. Our studio, severely flooded due to broken water mains from the apartments above us and we were not notified. 14 hours later, when I showed up to teach, complete with students, it was obvious that our studio was a total loss, and no longer a safe place, for a number of reasons. Great Harvest owners, Rand and JoEllen, have been our most incredible supporters, giving us a temporary space to practice, that has now turned permanent. We finished up renovations and have created a true yoga, health and wellness sanctuary.

Yogis and teachers Bridget and Catherine Prehn have poured their hearts, souls and money into the new space, and it is truly stunning and relaxing. We are a fun loving, hard working mother/ daughter team who are beyond grateful to share our love of yoga with friends (new and old) and enjoy the community and support our studio has been so overwhelmed with. Our hearts are exploding with love. It is awe inspiring to have the teachers and students from our community surrounding us, supporting us and always there to help, and while it has been difficult the last while, its worth every minute and every penny to enjoy the freedom to create a space that represents all of us. Owning a local business that is directly involved with helping others to regain and further develop good health and a sense of belonging is absolutely amazing.
