Mint Hill Yoga is not, nor will it ever be, a hot studio specializing in aggressive sun salutation based yoga. Vinyasa certainly has it’s place here, because it can be fun as well as balancing, but so does Desikachar inspired gentle viniyoga and Iyengar inspired alignment focused yoga. It is our belief that a balanced yoga practice consists of a little of everything, including asanas, rest, study, and meditation. We truly believe that yoga is for everybody. True to that vision, we are committed to making yoga affordable, and will never try to sell you things you don’t need.
Our space is small, and we are firmly committed to the yogic philosophies of aparigraha, or simple, non greedy living, and santosha, or contentment with what we have and where we are.
