Wonderful yoga teaching

The journey I started when I first entered the Om studio had been a life changing one, and I can't think of a better location to begin to change one's life as profoundly as i seem to be. The welcoming, energising, sacred atmosphere, combined with Kalavathi's experienced, knowledgeable, and caring teaching, makes for the perfect environment to begin to examine your inner self, take care of mind, body and soul, and meet some wonderful kindred spirits. If you are looking for quality yoga teaching in Cardiff then look no further, you have found it here

You start to unwind as soon as you walk into the Om studio, with it's clean bright space and relaxing view of trees and a lovely garden. The classes are well structured and Kalavathi clearly explains how to do each of the asanas as well as talking through the benefits of the different postures. There is a lot of focus on breathing which sets the classes apart from any others I have been to and makes for a deeper and more holistic yoga experience.

I always come away from the class feeling a thousand times better than when I went in! Kalavathi is a great teacher and her classes are the best I have ever been to - I never want to go anywhere else for yoga again and I highly recommend the class to anyone looking for something deeper than yoga as simply an exercise class.

OM-azing.

I love this place, the studio is beautiful, clean and the environment is very calming and friendly. Kalavathi is an expert teacher who has a whole wealth of yogic knowledge, her classes are excellent and authentic and very reasonably priced. Ive learned so much from Kalavathi and been helped so much by her teachings, I would strongly recommend the Om studio to everyone.

The Om studio is a serene and calm white space tucked away down a back lane and overlooking a quiet garden. Kalavathi’s yoga classes have a lovely friendly atmosphere and are punctuated by her interesting insights about life and yoga philosophy which always leave you with something to think about. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who wants to bring health and harmony to their body and spirit.

The Om Studio is a surprise haven from the city streets tucked away in a lane you walk into a studio looking out onto a tree filled garden. Kalavathi's warm and witty musings on life are punctuated by birds singing which is something really special.
The classes are thought provoking I always come away feeling I've learned something, and with a smile on my face.
I would have given 5 stars for it all - except the part of the review that asks is it like a 5 star hotel seems a bit daft, this isn't about style and being plush its more about connecting with your inner self.
It's great. Go there!

Well I am glad you didn't say it was like a 5 star hotel otherwise people would be expecting matresses and duvets for relaxation! Thanks for your lovely words Debra xxx

A lovely Yoga space

A wonderful Yoga space with a great healthy atmosphere. The acoustics are amazing and one feels serene peace in the studio. The Mandala on the wall is one of the very best such designs i have seen anywhere till date!!
