Ondine is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher with more than 300 hours of training and 20 years of practice. She is also an artist and art teacher (BFA, York University) who, grateful for the inner peace that art and Yoga have given her, and being one with the process of creating and practicing, is thrilled to share the beauty of truly being in the moment. Ondine’s classes focus on breathing, stretching and really opening up the body, creating flexibility, confidence and body awareness. As a teacher she weaves all her Yoga experiences together, with thoughtful sequencing, alignment cues and communicating the essence of the pose so her students can become truly alive in their practice. Most of all she aims to have you leaving calm, refreshed and centered. Ondine teaches Alignment based Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Yin, Ashtanga, Chair, Children and Seniors Yoga, Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation.
Ondine has been fortunate to learn from many wonderful master teachers from all over the world. First receiving her 200 hour Hatha teachers training certification from Asthanga Yoga Montreal. Studying with Guru Rodney Yee, Vinyasa Flow with Colleen Saidman Yee, Sean Corn, Elana Brower, Tara Styles, Iyengar with Patrica Walden, Noah Maze, Kevin Gardner, Carole Baillangeon, Ashtanga with Richard freeman, Meditation with Sharon Salzberg, Anatomy with Leslie Kaufman, and Philosophy with Bill Mahoney.
Grateful to be affiliated with Montreal Yoga Studios, Shanti Yoga and Shri Yoga Centre. She is always learning from Cathy Cozens, Barrie Riseman, and Mona Keddy. Also founder of ~Ondine Yoga~, teaching weekly classes, semi-privates, privates, corporate, after school and lunch programs for students and teachers, Couples Yoga, Mother & Daughter Yoga, Art & Yoga and various Yoga workshops throughout the year.
