This class is designed to educate those with spine issues who want to participate in yoga and find themselves challenged to modify their practice. It is a flow with focus on the spine, the bandhas, and with several modification options. Yogis can then feel safe taking classes anywhere and know how to safely modify on their own.
This class begins with flow, focused on Pranyama breath work to take you into the body with movement. The second half is Yin Yoga, where each Asana/Posture is held for 3-5 minutes. The class is not alignment based, but designed to take you through a mindful meditation of movement, breath and body awareness.
