Sarvaguna Yoga-Meditation Training School - Goa

I am a medical doctor (gynecologist) and public health professor in the US and wanted to improve and deepen my meditation practice. I did not really need a certificate to teach, but needed to fit into a structure at the center while my daughter embarked on her yoga training. We were both so moved by the genuine care and experience of the team. Dr. Keshava is more knowledgable than I could have imagined. The expansiveness of his philosophies and training and caring was profound. And as a Western physician, I am a skeptic and heavily lean on science and research. Dr. Keshava could not have been a more gifted teacher to really impact someone like me. I suffered the loss of a dear friend while I was in my training, and I don't think I would have been able to heal from this grief without the skills I had learned from the time with Dr. Keshava. I did not realize how rigorous and rich the intellectual side of the meditation and yogic philosophy were. And I know I have just started. Everything from the learning to our other students to the accommodations or swimming in the ocean during the lunch break, it was more transformative than either of us could explain. My daughter has been hired as a yoga teacher at CorePower in NYC and I am keeping my practice up (mostly) after 3 months of being back in the very intense and sometimes overwhelming work of medicine in New York City.
