The School for Alexander Studies offers a wide range of courses and workshops in the Alexander Technique. We have recently developed a branch operating from these premises specifically offering Alexander Yoga - The Melbourne Yoga Centre.
The Alexander technique is an educational approach to changing unhelpful habits in the way we "use" ourselves, looking at posture, movement and breath.
The application of the Alexander technique to hatha yoga practice returns yoga teaching to its roots - providing each individual student with the type of yoga suitable for their unique circumstances. Classes are therefor small and individual classes are offered.
