yoga for your mind and body

I have practiced many styles of yoga over the years. Georgia's classes are unique. She clearly does her homework. Her classes are customized according to the time of year, environmental issues etc... Her voice is soft as she educates you on benefits the position you are in. I am usually in a meditated state (which is not easy for me) in savasana.

I could not be more satisfied with what I am getting out of the classes. There are not many poses that I can even do at 70%, most more like 30 to 50%, but when I leave, I feel great. In the survey above, I chose easygoing, it is also very organized at the some time, that shows someone very confident in what they do.

Self Compassion yoga rocks!

I really enjoy attending Self Compassion yoga classes and Georgia is the best instructor! She's challenging, but also works with all the different levels in the class. I look forward to class every week!

Update to my earlier review

My earlier review had 1 star and it should have been 5! I highly recommend SCY and Georgia Jones. I've been a happy/healthy client for 3 years this November!

Great yoga classes

The classes are great for any level - always an excellent, challenging workout - with alternatives for different levels of abilities always presented.

Great place, great people, great workout!

I love Self-Compassion Yoga because it is just right for me. Over the years I took a yoga class here and there, so I am familiar with the practice of yoga. I have faced some health issues in the meantime. I have found Self-Compassion Yoga to be a place where I can do as much or as little as I need to do for me. Georgia is very knowledgeable and helpful. I always leave feeling rejuvenated.

Good blend

Her classes provide a nice blend of work with flexibility, strength, balance and meditation and are accessible to a wide range of people.
