What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the state of total awareness of the present moment. Mindfulness meditation is the use of a set of techniques to train the mind to focus on the now through breathing, mental imagery, self-awareness and relaxation. The benefits of mindfulness have been scientifically documented, and include stress and anxiety relief, improving heart conditions, lowering blood pressure and improving sleep. In general, mindfulness provides a sense of overall well-being.

What is Slow Flow Vinyasa Yoga?
Slow Flow classes are light and creative, but slower paced and gentler than your typical vinyasa classes. Postures are generally held for longer periods, and the transitions between poses are a little slower. Slow Flow is great for beginners as well as intermediates who want to take a little more time to sink deeper into their practice. Vinyasa yoga improves physical strength, balance, breathing, blood circulation and the nervous system.
