Kripalu Yoga unites Hatha Yoga (the yoga of physical postures) and Raja Yoga (yoga of meditation) harmoniously and simultaneously. It is an internally focused, meditative practice of performing physical postures with awareness on the flow of breath and sensations in the body. There are many benefits, such as stretching and toning muscles, releasing chronic tension, improving circulation and energizing and revitalizing the body. Kripalu Yoga is an exploration into the relationship between body and mind, invoking calm and cultivating concentration.
