South Perry Yoga at the BUDDHIO TM, is a collective movement arts & events studio. Our mission lies in supporting the wholeness of community through honoring the unique journey of each individual.
Our friendly staff brings a broad knowledge base to their teachings, having completed 200-500 hours of training in accordance with Yoga Alliance standards. (RYT, & E-RYT200/500) Many have studied with teachers certified in the Iyengar and Anusara traditions of Hatha Yoga, providing sound teaching principles of safe structural alignment and modifications for the 'Yoga Newbie' and beyond. Our dynamic class offerings bring a breath of eclectic creativity from a variety of yoga styles while deep rest, renewal and healing are supported through Restorative Yoga, Pranayama and guided meditation.
Private Yoga therapy sessions are available with board certified health professionals, bringing an integration of medical training to their yoga care plans. In 2017, 3 staff instructors received the credentials C-IAYT, Certified International Association of Yoga Therapists.
In 2013-16, UW/WSUMedicine partnered with South Perry Yoga as a non-clinical selective site for 1st & 2nd year medical students to further understanding of yoga as a therapeutic modality. In 2017, we partnered with WSU's Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, to create a Wellness Center for 1st & 2nd year medical students. We welcome inquiries regarding CEU supported medical conference presentations and corporate wellness programs.
