Hatha yoga tailored for the over 60s, classes are planned around a monthly theme to improve your physical fitness and general wellbeing. Moving through a series of postures and breath work in a gentle way, to develop coordination, balance and promote bone health.
Practising yoga regularly can improve mobility and create a sense of balance and harmony in your life. There is a 15 minute relaxation to finish the class where I guide you through a visualisation to fully relax the mind and body.

Suitable for beginners and students with medical conditions, as detailed verbal and visual instructions are given throughout the class with appropriate modifications and use of props, such as blocks, bricks, straps and blankets.
