Absolute hot yoga is a high energy, invigorating series of yoga poses
that promote balance, strength, flexibility and overall wellness.
During class, the studio is heated (38 - 40 ° C) which allows students
to work deeply into postures while simultaneously detoxifying the
body. Absolute hot yoga is perfect practice for everyone, regardless
of age or ability level because it's fun, challenging, balanced and
makes you feel fantastic!
THE 5 PRINCIPLES OF ABSOLUTE HOT YOGA
The heat is what makes Absolute Hot Yoga so powerful! During practice, the
heat allows you to stretch deeply, increases your heart rate (for cardiovascular
health) and promotes heavy sweating to detoxify and cleanse the body,
while at the same time preventing injury.
In yoga the breath is the key to unifying the body and mind. By controlling the
breath, we can stretch and strengthen the body while simultaneously calming
the mind and relieving stress. Absolute Hot Yoga teaches us to breathe deeply
and slowly, bring more awareness, not just in class but in our daily lives as well.
STRETCH & STRENGTHEN
Many forms of physical exercise leave the body strong in one ares but stiff and
weak in others. Absolute Hot Yoga is powerful because it helps us to stretch
and strengthen the entire body creating balance and harmony inside and out.
RELAX AND RELEASE
Absolute Hot Yoga is challenging and invigorating, but there is a balance
between working hard on the poses relaxing and releasing after poses. These
moments of Relaxation gives the body and the mind an opportunity to recover
and to heal. Absolute Hot Yoga is a great way to restore health and vitality.
GROW IN SPIRIT
More important than how our postures look is how they make
us feel. Ultimately, the most important reason to practice
Absolute Hot Yoga is to grow in spirit. Absolute Hot Yoga is
designed to boost self-esteem, self-image and leave you
feeling uplifted and empowered.
Yoga is a practice as well as a process. It's not about doing the
postures perfectly. No one is going to judge or criticize you. Your
fellow students are working much too hard to notice you. As long as
you give your best effort and attempt all of the postures correctly,
you receive as much therapeutic benefit as someone who is able to
do'a posture with a high degree of flexibility, balance and strength.
Your instructor may from time to time, and always in a respectful and
supportive manner, offer a suggestion or an adjustment that will carry
