Lovely Lucy

I have been taught by Lucy for quite a few years now - in classes in church halls, in smaller classes at my home and hers, and one to one. She is extremely professional, organised and attentive. She is always engaged with the class, intuitive about who needs more attention than others, she varies the classes and makes them interesting and all in all, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Perfect for all abilities.

Lucy is the most amazing teacher. She manages to make her class personnal and informative no matter if there are 2 or 10 of you. Her classes are the perfect combination of flexibility and relaxation. I always leave feeling better and there is no higher praise than that. Highly recommended to anyone at any level.

Lucy makes one feel very welcome. She clearly puts a lot of thought into each class. Whilst her demeanour is very calm the classes are always really well-planned and structured and as a result the time flies by. I come away feeling incredibly relaxed, my wife notices the difference! I sleep like a baby on a Wednesday night. I cannot recommend her highly enough as she understands my legacy of sporting injuries and consequently suggests postures to really stretch me without causing any pain to the afflicted joints. As a result I feel much more flexible than I ever thought I could be! I really hate missing a class. Euan

fantastic yoga classes

Whenever I have the time available I sign up for one of Lucy's classes. I have been going for several years and would recommend Lucy to anyone who wants to do yoga, whether experienced or a beginner. I have been to lots of yoga classes over the years and Lucy has been the best by a long way. When I was doing a lot of running, her yoga classes helped me maintain flexibility and improve core strength and posture. She is excellent at explaining and 'talking' you into the correct postures and I also really enjoy the breathing and meditation techniques that she introduces into the classes.

At the beginning of each yoga session, Lucy always explains the benefits of specific postures and more importantly, the mental, physical and emotional benefits of those postures. As a teacher, she gives me the space on my mat to reflect on my own yoga practice. Through this type of yoga practice, I now have the ability to listen to what my body is 'telling' me during the sessions. I would recommend her yoga classes.

I have done yoga for 10 years but I have been with Lucy for the last year and my yoga has improved more in the last year . Lucy is a wonderful teacher always working with you .

Lucy Paul Yoga

I have been doing Yoga with Lucy for eight years and couldn't recommend her classes more enthusiastically. Each class is well planned. The poses are varied as we work on different parts of the body and breathing. We are encouraged to challenge ourselves as it suits us. Lucy is a great proponent of the yoga experience - healthy, fit, centred and absorbed by the yoga philosophy and prinicipals. SW Yoga is an integral part of my week and helps me feel fit, strong and calm.

Wonderful yoga

I have been doing yoga with Lucy at SWYoga for many years and her classes are always uplifting , imaginative and relaxing. She makes a huge effort to exercise and challenge the whole body each term . Classes are never the same and give me the opportunity to push myself as far or as little as I like. A fantastic teacher !! Carolyn .

a great teacher

Lucy always varies our classes to make sure that we are constantly evolving in our practice. She also suits the level of activity to the experience of the student and is very careful about any physical issues we might have. I have been taking her classes for years and love the atmosphere she creates and the way I feel when I leave the room.
