At The Art of Yoga, we take the practice of yoga seriously, but we put our own egos aside. This is about your yoga practice and we strive to create a studio that is open to all people. Most yoga studios teach from a point of perspective (think: college lecture), but not everyone learns the same way. That’s why, at The Art of Yoga, our instructors teach while floating through the room. We offer an adjustment here and there, but don’t expect to receive more than one adjustment per class, or even one in every class. We adjust you for safety and improvement, but if all we did was adjust then you wouldn’t feel confident in your practice. And we want you to leave your class happy, knowing that you achieved your best in practice. We think this approach works better for a variety of learning styles and is highly endorsed by our current students.
