The Shala offers classes in Astanga Yoga, the practice taught at the Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India. The Mysore style, named appropriately for Mysore, India where Sri K Pattabhi Jois taught, is the foundation of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. A student is taught the sequence once asana (posture) at a time.
