The studio a yoga teacher would dream of owning

I have had the pleasure of covering classes for Sarah Burgess at Yogacreation and every time I go there, I can't stop smiling. As someone who once owned a small studio of her own and has worked in many different studios, I have an eye for detail when it comes to yoga places. Well, in my opinion, Yogacreation gets everything right.

It's light but never cold, with big windows and a great wooden floor, a nice changing area, a discreet scent of essential oils, clean and abundant equipment.Everything is spotless but not clinical. The decoration is also very tasteful with a painting representing a green dancing Shiva, a small portrait of Patthabi Jois, little candles, a singing bowl, and nothing else. All the teachers I have met are friendly, very professional and yet totally approachable and easy-going. Classes start and end on time, and signing in is made as simple as can be, with all options from signing in online to just bringing cash along to class. The studio attracts a lovely mix of people, friendly and down-to-earth, who come to study yoga and not to show off. The selection of classes and workshops reflects lots of different yoga styles and makes sure students find the class and workshop that suits their needs. Simply said, if I lived close enough, I would study yoga at Yogacreation every day. Well done Catherine and Sarah!
