Hatha Yoga is a chance to work with individual postures and work at a slower pace.
The teacher will expertly guide you through a selection of asana (postures) giving you relevant information during the class focusing on alignment and explaining the benefits of the postures. Students will be encouraged to focus on the breath throughout the session and through this direction may arrive at a place of awareness and begin to experience yoga as a mediation. Hatha classes at Yoga Kula include time dedicated to pranayama (breathing) practices which help to improve mental clarity and wellbeing. There is adequate time dedicated to much needed relaxation practices at the end of the session. This class is perfect for those newer to yoga as well as those wanting to refine an existing practice.

Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic set series of postures designed to build strength, flexibility, endurance and focus. Participants will be guided through the Ashtanga Primary Series step by step, you do not already need to know the postures before you try a class! Those who wish to find a real sense of deep strength in the body whilst remaining steady in the mind will enjoy this approach to yoga. Once the series becomes more familiar, the body stronger and more flexible, participants will begin to feel a sense of rhythm and smoothness in the practice. The breath is key (as with other styles) so participants will be taught how to surround the practice with breath to fuel the sequence and calm a busy mind. Sessions will end with adequate time for relaxation.

Kundalini Yoga is often described as ‘the yoga of awareness’. Kundalini is a tantric-based practice that works from the inside out, using dynamic or holding postures to shift and direct energy and bring you closer to your true self. Each ‘kriya’, or set, is fixed and designed to achieve a specific response in the body. Most classes incorporate pranayama (breathing exerecises), a long relaxation, time for meditation and the use of powerful mantras. Working with these ancient tantric techniques allows participants to feel deeply connected to themselves, energised and empowered!
Kundalini is potent, life-transforming and empowering.
You become physically and mentally fit and fast!
It is specifically designed to stimulate personal growth through systematic ancient techniques.
This yoga system strengthens the nervous system, balances the glandular system, increases physical and emotional stability and boosts vitality.
Kundalini is for everyone no matter what age, level or flexibity!
