Yogi Centered prides itself on being completely accepting, everyone is welcome! No previous experience is needed. Any disabilities or difficulties are worked with or around and optional modifications are provided to make every yoga posture possible for everyone. All body types are welcome.
Classes are generally based on the Hatha style of yoga, while Restorative and Vinyasa styles are also an influence. Many aspects of yoga are incorporated into the classes, this includes physical yoga poses (asana), breathing exercises (pranayama), relaxation and meditation exercises (Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana) and more.
Classes aim to improve wellness throughout the body, mind and soul. That means that whether you are seeking physical benefits such as weight loss, toning, flexibility; mental benefits such as improved concentration, the ability to still the mind; or spiritual benefits such as recognition of your inner self or true essence, connection to the Divine etc, Yogi Centered has the perfect class for you.
