A great place to learn and to know yourself

I've completed the Yoga instructor training program in August 2014.

Sitting in a top of a mountain in Porto Mendo the ashram is a great place to be. Good facilities, very quiet, very easy to get centered. Surrounded by woods, you can blend in with Nature, study in the wild or go for a meditational walk.

You'll find a very experienced teacher with a deep knowledge. You'll cover anatomy, philosophy, introduction to ancient texts, meditation and the fundamental techniques that practicing Yoga requires and practice a lot. He will encouraged you to do your self-study after the teachings, but he will always be there to accompany you in your journey.

You will have volunteers that will be there to provide you with all the help you need so you can stay focus on your studies and practice. The food is great and healthy.

You will also have the bonus of watch live, or help in Yoga classes lectured in the community outside the ashram, in addition to the teaching practice that will you have during your course.

No matter the reasons why you are willing to undertake a Yoga teacher training program, wether you want to go further with your practice or teach Yoga, this is a great place to do it.

It will be intense, it can test your limits and commitment to Yoga sometimes, but I guaranty that you will deepen the connection with yourself and everyone around you and will be given the knowledge to start your Yogic path with confidence...the rest is up to you.
