A Month that will go down in History...

A sacred curriculum taught in world-class surroundings by world-class teachers. I can honestly say the 200hr YTT offered by the School of Sacred Arts totally exceeded my expectations AND blew my mind! I feel like I went into this training with an agenda and came out with a lifestyle. Cannot recommend it enough whether you want to teach or just continue being taught or both.

LIFE CHANGING! It was like being at the "liberal arts school" of yoga teacher trainings i.e. so much breadth/depth and very holistic. Every teacher emitted so much light and wisdom, and our classmates were all love. Thank you again SOSA for a magical learning experience. We're just seeing the tip of the iceberg and it's been wonderful so far :)

A life changing experience

I have just completed my 200 hour teaching training with The School of Sacred Arts in Bali. While the seeds of the lessons are still landing, sprouting and growing, I can clearly feel already the vast and profound changes inside myself.

Learning how to facilitate an asana practice through anatomy, alignment and the art of assisting is simply scratching the surface of what can be learnt from this course.

Simone and her team create a safe and nurturing space in which true self enquiry can take place, in order for you to be able to truly align with yourself and be able to therefore teach from the heart and not someone else's experience of yoga.

You are given the time to invest in yourself and encouraged to find and lay down your own blueprint for how yoga can therefore come off the mat and into the contours of your life. Whilst at the same time being gifted daily with a wide and balanced variety of philosophical, practical and physical practices.

Heart is the fundamental essence of my experience of SOSA. The Schools love and passion for Yoga and the wisdom traditions is so evident and therefore so infectious and inspirational. Each individual and highly professional teacher has something fresh, brilliant and unique to share, culminating in a deeply resonating collective breadth of wisdom absolutely unparalleled to any 'education' I have ever received.

The transformational and magical potential of this yoga teacher training is something to be felt and embodied and I feel my words can scarcely do it justice but my heart is so full with gratitude for each and every minute of this immersion that I know already it will last a life time. It has opened up my heart and mind to infinitive possibilities within myself and how I see the world. Whether you have the calling to teach, to deepen your personal practice, to reconnect with nature, humanity, your own essence...know you are in the safest of hands, the wisest of knowledge, among the kindest of hearts and the dearest of friends with this beautiful tribe.

Thank You!

Thank you for this beautiful reflection on your experience. We have worked hard to create a program that offers a deeper experience - not just of your yoga practice on the mat - but on the deeper, more subtle levels of our entire experience.

We are blessed to work with a passionate team in such a wonderful space.

We look forward to seeing you again soon and cannot wait to see your journey unfold!

Best Experience of my Life

I completed SOSA training this past April 2015. I have nothing but amazing things to say as it went above and beyond any of my expectations I arrived with. I left the program feeling like a confident teacher. In addition to having received a well-rounded education, I personally developed tools that have and will stay with me for the rest of my life.

They brought in teachers who were specialists in their own field which kept the broad range of topics highly accounted for. The schedule was arranged so perfectly in terms of balancing the theoretical, physical and practical aspects. Each and every teacher was inspiring and beautiful in their own way, passing along sacred teachings and wisdoms that you just cannot get in a book, most often hard to come across in a lifetime.

I am so grateful for what this program has given me, and the others I was in the program with. The sacred space they held for all of us was magical. I graduated not only a qualified yoga teacher, but having made new friendships for life, connecting with one another on a deeper, more powerful level than most friendships we create in the real world.

Last but not least, the Yoga Barn is the most beautiful place to have held the training, as we are taught all classes in the wild rainforest/rice paddies of Ubud, buzzing with life and colour. On a regular day the sun is shining into the studio surrounded by lotus flower ponds and tall grass with Buddha statues. Wild chickens roaming, baby geckos singing, and lush tropical fruit growing all around us. The closest place to heaven I have ever been, and we got to spend a whole month learning about yoga! Could not recommend this program more. A true gift. Thank you for everything SOSA!

You were a delightful presence to have on the TT. It makes me happy to know that our program and team could hold space for you all in such a rich and deep way. Be the change you want to see in the world…. :)

SOSA's Trainings are Top Notch!

I had the pleasure of being involved in the 2014 April Bali Training, and after a few years of teaching YTTCs myself, I was astounded at the breadth of support, teaching and offerings given to SOSA TTC participants. I have no doubt that this will be a successful experience for any potential Yoga teacher: a life-chaning and deeply enriching experience. Hari Om Tat Sat!

Incredible experience again

I completed this course three years ago (see review below) and was invited back this year to assist the teachers, therapists and practitioners. The fact that SOSA invites assistants is a credit to them as they know how important it is for students to always have someone to connect with.
I got to see how the training and teachers have evolved and grown in the last few years. They don't just pump out the same training every year.

I not only got to see the students blossom and surprise themselves but I alway got to surprise myself again and again.
This training is such an amazing trip for anyone who wants to depend their practice and also immerse themselves in the rich philosophy that is YOGA.
SOSA also offers a graduate program where previous grads can come back and review what they have learned and soak up what is new.
This is an AMAZING training and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks Simone and the wonderful teachers you surround yourself with each year <3 love love <3

School of Life

SOSA was so far the most amazing and unforgeteble experience I had in my life. What makes this course so unique and so rich is the variety of an amazing group of professionals, teachers who love what they do, different personalities, different ways to teach, but all with the same wisdom and love. SOSA taught me not only asanas, pranayamas techniques and meditation, SOSA goes deep in every aspect of our life in the mat and out of it. It was with no doubt a life changing.

The appreciation goes both ways. Your dedication to this path and your blossoming inspires us all...and your smile lights up the world! :)

I am a graduate of the SOSA 2013 Bali experience, and truly it was, as the title suggests, amazing. The crew of teachers were knowledgeable and genuin , always available to answer any questions and eager to share their passion for yoga and health. The setting was glorious and made all the better by the unwavering support provided for our growth both in our practice and in our hearts.

The course load itself was incredibly well rounded, touching on a variety of topics that all inexorably tied in to our yoga practice and opened a door of exploration in different styles of yoga, esoteric texts, and ancient forms of medicine.
SOSA provided a safe, fun, and loving environment where we could learn something that we love, with people who became friends and teachers who became inspiration. I would highly recommend the SOSA training course for anyone looking to expand their yoga knowledge in yoga, or anyone who simply wants to try something different. Whatever you are looking to get out of a training, SOSA can support you in your journey.

AMAZING experience!!

Last year I went to the School of Sacred Art's 200 hr teaching training. I cannot say enough great things about this program and the people involved! This experience was so much more than I was originally anticipating. The space they create, the flow of the training and the staff they have chosen made the training unforgettable.

I came into the training with a pretty open mind, not knowing what to expect but with some nervous apprehension. Any nervous tension I had was gone after the first day of orientation. Their energy and supportive presence creates an environment where not only it feels safe to embrace your emotions but also encourages so much personal growth. I admire their teaching style, their professional demeanor and their ability to show as much compassion as they do. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to be involved with such a phenomenal group!
