Being brought up in true heart of England, beautiful, old Birmingham, Adam found his way further north to the chilly hills of Durham to begin step one on the path to a lucrative legal career. Before long, legal books got put aside and Adam began to work with underprivileged teens in the North East in various capacities, leading volunteer projects in schools and heading to young offenders institutions. After a brief post-universty sabbatical, running a bar and walking the width of Spain, Adam turned working with young people in to a career, with highlights including :
Managing 2 brand new youth-hubs and event spaces in Central London, including theatre, recording studios, commercial catering business, event space, gym, dance studios and more.
Setting up and delivering programmes for hundreds of young people as part of the National Citizen Service, with The Challenge
Specialising in Youth Leadership and Life Coaching for 13-25 year olds with Changemakers, with clients including Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital
Though still passionate about all of the above, but is now full time yogi teaching around London, acting as studio manager for Stretch and is one of the Boys of Yoga.
ADAM'S STYLE OF TEACHING
Adam brings his boundless enthusiasm to every session, even the 6am's, aiming to give you an invigorating, sweaty practice where you'll encounter some mental and physical obstacles, take them down, or at least make a dent, and then leave the studio with a smile. As much as the mind will be worked at the opening, during and and at the close of class, Adam uses his diverse background and understanding of the body, to give you a session that, in addition to all things yoga, will give you all the benefits to the body that you might get down at your gym.
