I’ve practice yoga since I was 19 years old. Since then I knew that it would become the center, the union of all my different stages on life.
In Venezuela there weren’t proper teaching training programs, so we all learned from our teachers. Mine was an Iyengar professor, Carmen Colás, who taught me for two years and encourage me to teach in 2002. Then, at Lille, France I learned Primary and Intermediate Ashtanga series with professor Philippe Mons. In 2007 I took the 50hs. Rocket TT with David Kyle. That same year, inspired by his poster, I visited Dharma Mittra and I really connected with his way of teaching. I bought his CD’s and used to practice with it every morning. It was until 2014 that I was able to take the Life of a Yogi Teacher Training with Sri Dharma Mittra. This experience changed my practice, my teaching and my spiritual journey.
I’ve taught in Venezuela, France, Spain, Argentina, and México. In my classes I like to encourage students to go further, to offer their practice and to experience more that just asanas.
