Owner + Yoga Teacher, Certified Yoga Therapist + Gait Analyst
Alana is the owner of Yoga Bound, a Certified Yoga Therapist, Yoga Teacher and a Holistic Health Counselor.
Originally from Manhattan Beach, California, Alana discovered Yoga 10 years ago while attending University of California at Santa Cruz. Yoga made a powerful shift in Alanaʼs life, and quickly it became her passion as well as her platform for continuous self study and evolution.
She obtained her Yoga Therapy Training with Loyola Marymount University Yoga Therapy Rx 2 year program. In this program, Alana met her teacher, Sherry Brourman. Sherry Brourman is a highly reputable physical/gait/yoga therapist with over 40 years of experience, and author of Walk Yourself Well. For two years, Alana worked in a clinical internship program studying under Sherry and assisting her Yoga Therapy classes in Los Angeles. Currently, Sherry is training Alana to be a certified Gait Analysis Practitioner. With Gait Analysis and Yoga Therapy, Alana uses Sherryʼs unique system to explore movement for itʼs healing capacities, decipher movement habits, and any obstacles to integrated and fluid movement patterns. Whether in a Yoga Therapy class or private Yoga/Gait Therapy sessions, you will learn how to move inside your body with more intelligence, stability and ease. Alana received her training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutritionʻs cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program. During this training, she studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the worldʼs top health and wellness experts. Alanaʼs education has equipped her with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health.
Both Holistic Health Coaches, Alana Bray and manager of Yoga Bound, Kristina Kuzmich have created the beLiving Well seasonal Programs. Offered every season at Yoga Bound, this 12-day holistic health lifestyle program is designed to create clean eating habits and mindful daily practices that set you up for a lifetime of optimal health and wellness.
Alana teaches regular Yoga Therapy and Vinyasa classes at Yoga Bound. She is also available for private Yoga Therapy, Gait Therapy and Holistic Heath coaching sessions.
