Alana has been practicing yoga since 2014. She fell in love with the practice for the physical postures but after reading The Yamas and Niyamas by Deborah Adele she knew it was so much more. In 2018 she received her 200 HR certificate through Yogarenew. She is passionate about yoga philosophy, watching her student's growth, and yoga's sister science Ayurveda. She is forever a student and loves to share what she is studying in her teachings.
She offers accessible classes that leave the practitioner feeling balanced. She loves to incorporate music, aromatherapy, and singing bowls in dynamic ways. Her mission is to offer students a judgment-free space to explore their yoga practice. She aims to offer a little more peace into the lives of her students one pose, one breath at a time.
She has spent the last three years studying early childhood education and working as a preschool teacher. When she's not teaching adults she loves to offer the many benefits of yoga to children in creative ways.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking vegetarian meals, reading, or attending rock concerts.
