Alex Audette began his post-secondary education in Chemical Engineering, graduating from McGill University in 1993. He spent 7 years in Japan and completed a 2 year diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Beijing University of TCM and Pharmacology. This was followed by a 2 year apprenticeship with Matsumoto Acupuncture Research Group in Kami-Fukuoka city. In 2000, Alex returned to Calgary and completed another 2 years of study at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and TCM. He has practiced Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture, Massage, Herbs, Nutrition and Yoga) for 15 years, beginning in Calgary, with the last 8 years at the Anello Clinic in Cambridge, ON. He is a practitioner of Iyengar Hatha and Ashtanga yoga and focuses on Advanced Asana in his practice and workshops.
