Alice Lucas is a creative and compassionate yoga teacher, influenced by her unique background as a visual artist and former first-grade teacher. Alice is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher (RYT), and has participated in two 200-hour trainings. Her peaceful and positive personality is contagious, and students shine as they are guided through fun and effective movement instruction. Alice is passionate about all styles of yoga and teaches anything from a gentle restorative class to a fast-paced vinyasa with artful intelligence.
Due to her background as a ballet dancer, the physical practice of yoga was immediately appealing. Alice’s interest increased as she explored the different styles and branches of yoga as well as yogic philosophy. She became very dedicated to her personal practice when she discovered Mysore-style Ashtanga, witnessing the transformative power of a yoga lifestyle.
Alice is now living her dream as a full-time yoga teacher and teaches multiple classes a week to both adults and children.
