I’ve dedicated my whole working life to being a teacher (it’s in my blood my mum and sister are teachers too). I guess it started in school in the back of maths class teaching my friends.
To be a good teacher I feel you need to have plenty of experience as a student and I’ve always enjoyed being a student. I just couldn’t get enough at school I went in early, did lunchtime activities and often after school clubs too. I had dance and swimming lessons since I was a small child and kept them going through the tricky teenage years only giving up due to lack of finances as a student in London – but thank you to Brixton Recreation Centre I discovered aerobics and that was the seed that was planted which led me to leave my Engineering Product Design Course to pursue my passion for fitness and make it my living.
