Why should you choose me as your Fitness&Yoga Instructor?
My yoga is fitness style, which is modern and very easy to follow. I keep energetic, positive atmosphere during the session. There is no competition, no pressure. I like to see people smiling on my classes. Why? If they smile - they feel good, if they feel good they are more positive. If you are positive you can do more, and you believe in yourself. This is what you need to do to change your body and your life for better forever.

I am 69 years of age , with trepidation I joined yoga classes in August 2017,on the advice of my consultant to improve my level of fitness before undergoing surgery. The results have been amazing. Alicia is an amazing teacher very patient and pitches her sessions to your ability . Ca’t sing her praises enough. Only wish I had started years ago

Beginner Private Yoga Sessions

Alicia has been a great yoga teacher to my partner & I. She has made us feel extremely welcomed and comfortable as beginners. Alicia is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain the purpose of each move/stretch. Lovely relaxed environment, always feel so much better upon leaving! Would recommend to anyone! :)

Perfect!

Many of my friends have practiced yoga before and they all kept saying I should try. Alicia was recommended by one of them.
As I haven't been doing much exercise I was worried this would not be for me and I though I would quit soon.
But I was wrong! I have been having private sessions with Alicia and I have no complains and definitely no intention of quitting.
Alicia is an excellent teacher: she adapts the class to your level and she keeps encouraging you in every step so you can progress over time. She understands that every person is different and she lets you do everything at your own rhythm, pushing you when needed and also letting you relax at the right time.
I am definitely enjoying it and would recommend it to everyone!

Would highly recommend

Alicia's classes will push you whilst ensuring you keep within your bodies limits. Alicia is clear with instruction and will be aware of each individual to ensure exercises are done properly. The relaxation at the end of each session is perfect after a hard workout and helps to wind down after a hard day. I would highly recommend Alicia's classes to all levels.

Excellent yoga teacher

Alicia is an excellent teacher. I have been attending her Fitness Yoga classes on Wednesdays and Fridays for almost 2 years.

She is extremely knowledgeable and has friendly approach which puts everyone at ease - she encourages you to challenge yourself within your own limits and she likes to mix it up a bit so you get to try new positions / stretches each week resulting in personal sense of achievement as you realise that you can do more and your strength and fitness is continually improving. This is why she has regular group of participants that keep on coming back. Her classes are addictive. I always sleep well after yoga too and really enjoy the guided relaxation at the end of class providing opportunity to de-stress and switch off from daily pressures. Keep up the good work Alicia and look forward to class next week!

Alicia APG fitness Yoga

I have recently started going to Alicia's fitness yoga class. I was made to feel very welcome. Alicia makes you feel very relaxed as well as giving you the opportunity to push yourself at your own pace during the class. I leave the class feeling more balanced and relaxed. I am pleased that I have found Alicia's class that is also local to my home.

I'm a yoga convert!

I was really nervous about starting Yoga but Alicia and the group were really welcoming. Alicia explains really clearly what you need to do and helps you if you can't quite do something or will teach an alternative.
The class has been great and really enjoyable - I would definitely recommend to other first time yoga goers!

Just what the doctor ordered... :-)

Alicia is charming, friendly and focused yoga teacher. She is very open and approachable and always happy to offer modifications to the poses to fit the requirements of her audience. Her style is relaxed, calming and beneficial and she blends in some more challenging poses, again offering help and adaptation to those who need it. I have felt the benefit of Alicia's work after the first three classes, my body felt relaxed and more flexible and I realised my sleeping pattern was improving. I can see how easily I will be able to build my strength with her support. When you meet Alicia, you'll feel like you've made a new friend! Her passion for yoga contagious and an hour in her class provides a positive energy for days after.

A wonderful teacher for pregnancy yoga!!!

Knowing Alice and her yoga classes has been my salvation. At half of my pregnancy I started to suffer from sciatica and I wan't able to sleep well. My big surprise was that from the second session, sciatica disappeared and I started to sleep much better. So, if you're pregnant and looking for ways to relax or stay fit, you should definitely consider prenatal yoga with Alicia.

A centre of calm

When I posted a review of Alicia on Yogatrail in November 2014, I mentioned that I hoped she could secure her own premises rather than the local village centre. Happy to say after many ups and downs she now has Yoga Garden! It is tastefully decorated and can accommodate a small to medium sized class comfortably. She has been able to offer more classes now which is great if I can't get to a class due to work commitments; now I never have to miss a class! Thank you Alicia for your commitment and enthusiasm.

Alicia has introduced me to yoga and I absolutely love it! You feel instantly at ease in her sessions. With her guidance and encouragement my balance and posture has improved so much- she is always so clear when explaining movements. Her 'relaxation' mediation at the end of sessions is something which I look forward to every week. Definitely recommend!

Great instructor- really enjoy my weekly class

As a newbie to yoga, Alicia has been a brilliant instructor. Each class is different, meaning you don't get bored, she demonstrates each position, giving different options for different abilities and pushes you to go that little bit further. I love the relaxation at the end and look forward to the class each week.

She's the best

Alicia is the instructor you want to have, especially if you're still considering starting yoga classes.
I'm attending her classes for almost a year now, and I'm so happy that online videos didn't take away my interest.
Her classes are for every level and so much fun!
She gives you several options for every pose, so you can challenge yourself and find the best option that suits you. It's also very good, to set goals to improve.
She's very experienced, knows what she's doing.
If you're still hesitating to join her sessions, just call her, you won't regret it.
She's the best! :)

Enjoyable Class

Alicia's yoga classes are a joy to attend. I am quite new to yoga and not overly confident but am always made to feel welcome and put at ease. I feel really good afterwards and always look forward to attending. Alicia has a lovely, calm manner about her and will often contact me after the class to see how I am feeling.

Fitness Yoga

I'm new to yoga and enjoy Alicia's happy mix of friendly explanation and demonstration. Her class is so far well matched to ability and in all the positions she gives a more advanced (or even more advanced) option, ensuring there is always something to strive for.

New to Yoga!

I contacted Alicia regarding Yoga lessons while explaining that I am currently seeing a Chiropracter regarding back pain.
Alicia replied very promptly, and I have now had two private lessons, while initially being very anxious due to being a true novice, Alicia made me feel at ease and is very warm & friendly, and blessed with huge amounts of patience, & a calming nature.
Alicia has made my lessons very enjoyable and demonstrates clearly , while explaining concisely what we are aiming to achieve, checking consistently that I am ok throughout the lesson.
I look forward to continuing my Yoga journey with Alicia who I cannot recommend highly enough!

I have been to numerous different yoga centres around the West Midlands before i started going to Alicia's twice weekly classes. This is the best i have found, Alicia is very knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly passionate about yoga - and welcoming to all levels of experience. The classes have such a friendly and welcoming feel. The routines have many different options from basic to advanced so are perfect for beginners and more experienced alike. Alicia has really helped to develop my yoga and i look forward to her classes immensely.

Great at developing individuals

Alicia is great at teaching a whole class but taking into account the individual. Her classes caters for beginners to experienced students, as she demonstrates various options for challenging moves. Would recommend for people seeking gentle but challenging exercise.

Friendly and challenging!

I love that this is a local class for me. Each week has a different challenge, but it is enjoyable and indeed challenging. Alicia has a very friendly approach and seeks feedback after class as to how difficult or easy we found it. When teaching Alicia doesn't confuse us with obscure yoga terms! I hope Alicia can secure a larger venue and offer more classes soon!

I started classes with Alicia five months ago as a beginner. My fitness levels have improved so much that I now attend her more challenging Broga classes. Alicia pitches each class at a variety of levels, so that everyone can feel challenged and valued. I wouldn't go to classes anywhere else now...
