Alina's journey into yoga started 11 years ago when she began to practice traditional Hatha yoga in her home country, Romania. This started off a process of inner and outer transformation which allowed her to feel the life-changing power of yoga on all levels of the being. She completed a 500 Hours teacher training with the Association of Yoga and Meditation in Rishikesh, India, allowing her to go deeper into the understanding of the therapeutic benefits of yoga and meditation. She also worked for 9 months at a yoga and medotation retreat center in Siem Reap, Cambodia. She loves to teach different styles, but especially Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga with a focus on alignment, but also on the different levels of awareness within the practice.
For Alina yoga is so much more than a physical practice on the mat. It is a way of life and a path towards self-discovery. Her desire is to inspire people to realize the deeply transformative power of yoga and to reach a state of true health of body, mind and spirit.
